As a child I was unsure of lots of things and saved items that I should've used right away like lip gloss, erasers, and patches. For some reason I could never commit to ironing on a patch Fearing that once I actually ironed one on I would only realize I'd enjoy having the patch on a hat or my elbow or on a shoe. Apparently I just hoarded the damn things in my kaboodle while waiting for the day I'd find the perfect spot to place examples of skilled embroidery.  Luckily This Burger Layer patch by Mokuobi Threads is so stinking cute that I would happily oblige to ironing on a dozen of these onto pants and never regret such a decision.

beyond Grafffiti 2 exhibits the work of iconic graffiti artists defining the rich history of the urban art scene as it pushes past preconceptions of the spray can. Graffiti is more than just adding color or words to a wall - it is an expressive gesture vis a vis architecture, design, and the landscapes of the city in which we live.

featuring works by Eyeone, Swank, Eder, Aise, Axis, Defer, Chaz, Krush, Fishe, and Kofie, the exhibit opens Saturday, March 28th at the Architecture + design Museum of Los Angeles.

Funny isn't it how we break our own hearts? Disappointed in omittances of truth and our own failure  to live up to the heroes we think we are, with hands in our pockets, we walk with heavy hearts.  I'm sorry for breaking yours.

Counting blessings on new year's

Having lost the presence of a few loved ones, 2014 broke my heart.

Luckily I've been able to  bask in the beauty of many others who create change and
fill this world with so much light and laughter.

 2015, I'm ready for you.

PS I wish I had photos of the other homies.
