Alex T. Smith is an author and illustrator of children's books. His work is just brilliant. Of course his subjects cover other things than just bears, but these, oh these bears tickle me so. It turns out one of his greatest influences was his grandfather who wrote a story for him every school day as a child. Smith's grandfather would leave these daily stories in the arms of Smith's favorite toy, a bear. God I love old people. Check out more of Alex T. Smith's work at his flikr and blog.
