After 3 months of hearing nada, I got a phone interview and

emails from 2 different companies.!

I was looking at the details of the email conversation

with a hiring manager that was asking for my resume.

Turns out I forgot to attach the resume AND

I sent out my cover letter with my personal email address -blahmonkeyblah.

Haha they probably read their inbox and were all "wtf?" who the f**k is this?

I guess I got their attention.

Arriving over night, I brought home a ripe kiwi for my dad.
After slicing into the green flesh and spooning a few pieces of kiwi into this mouth,
he smiled and said it tasted like his favorite fruit.
My lovely father hasn't had his favorite fruit in so long
he'd forgotten what it tasted like.

After 20+ years of working on his feet,
I think it's about time the old man got to back to the islands.
I wish I could fly him back.

I saw Daaam Funk and felt like I was in high school again.

He was hella nice.

I met some old heads from Pomona.
After hearing so many stories about them,
and from the way folks talked about them,
I thought they'd be 6'5". At 5'11" they still looked like folks you wouldn't mess with though.
May showed them a picture of 3 year old Shae Shae with
her mouth full of caps. In return they showed us their phones with their babygirls as their
desktops. They're heart breakers for sure.
