"I can think of no better way to repay your many kindnesses than to share a little bit of her with you here. a video tribute put together by me and my brother in those furiously blurry few days before we laid her to rest. a barrage of old photographs and old home movie footage but so much more. so, so much more. her life, her light. my beautiful, amazing mom.

 This week A cat  much like this  decided to spend its final days with us at the preschool . We tried chasing it away at first because having the cat there was a liability, it did nothing, and  then we realized it was blind. We gave it a saucer of milk, and it napped while the kids played.  I thought it was kind of sweet that it wanted to listen to children laugh on its last day.
