Excuse the pause in posts. 

With  videos, report cards, our graduation ceremony, and field trips plus my own night classes, life's been busier than a chicken on Easter. I do know things are changing around these  here parts ( motion placing guns back into holsters and nod head with approval). Just for now I'll hold onto some old things  while I create space for new ones. I'm sitting here on a much needed day off trying to finish off a few projects and realized I NEED MORE LIGHTING! These lamps would be a joy to work  under. Just look at them!

OUR UNIT ON THE SOLAR SYSTEM WAS CUT SHORT BY SPRING BREAK, BUT

MY STUDENTS ARE STILL DRAWING METEORS SHOOTING INTO THE

EARTH'S ATMOSPHERE. 

Scissors are definitely my tool of choice when 
I feel like creating something.  Though symbols
of imperialism aren't usually things I go about
yearning for, I sheepishly have to admit these Eiffel 
Tower scissors have caught my interest. (sidenote: 
Read up on the Wolrd's Fairs and the peoples put on exhibit there.) 
This desire to have this pair may be due to the fact
that if I could hoard one thing, it'd be scissors. 
We're all a bit colonized aren't we? 
Oh scissors! I love you so!
